2024 Price Increase

Verizon raised my prices last year and now another $4.00 a month per phone based on my contracted plan. Is this considered a termination of contract allowing us to just pay off our phones and go to a monthly prepaid service provider without penalty?

The costs of all these corporations raising prices is just getting beyond ridiculous: home insurance 50% increase, car insurance 25%, groceries 40-60%, property taxes 50%,, streaming services 25% yet all these CEOs are buying 20M and 50M dollar homes 30 minutes from me and 500M yachts waisting away in Cabo that they use for 2 weeks a year.

Hello, starting March 1, Verizon customers on select older Unlimited mobile plans will see a monthly plan increase of $4 per line, effective their next billing cycle.

Pricing for our newer myPlan platform will remain the same. Customers on older plans can easily move to myPlan and take advantage of the network option that works best for them, plus exclusive savings on the entertainment, shopping and experiences that matter to them, including Disney+, AppleOne, Netflix, Max, Walmart and many others.

I want to know exactly why my bill is going up four dollars. My plan gets more and more expensive every year. I have no problem leaving Verizon. If you’re going to keep charging me random fees and not explaining to why. Verizon is now just like the rest of the phone companies taking money, more and more from their customers for no real reason.

Thanks for the CANNED RESPONSE. You didn’t explain anything. Verizon is just falling in line with the rest of the companies that are arbitrarily raising prices on their customers to get more money from them under the guise of “we’re trying to provide you with the best experience.” Corporate greed continues to win in this country while consumers continue to lose. There is zero benefit for me in raising my already incredibly high bill. How dare you continue to raise prices on your loyal customers. I’ll be definitely looking into AT&T.

Raising the price by $4 and then suggesting we go to one of their newer plans makes no sense. That would cost me an addition $10 a month for what I’m already getting.
