I am not happy about the $4 per line increase!! I've been a customer for over 20 years and it may be time to move to another carrier. I used to have coverage within a 10 mile radius and now I barey have coverage in my own home. I don't see the advantage of 5G unless maybe if a person lives in an urban area. I live in a rural area. The had coverage along the main roads I travel on but now I can travel an hour without coverage. What happened. You say the increase is for development, expansion, yada yada yada!! I have yet to see the benefit.
As the years go by, I am paying more for less. I had better service and coverage when I had a trac phone. AT&T is looking better and better.
All I want is internet access and coverage. I don't use all the other 'extras' like entertainment, shopping, Disney+, AppleOne, Netflix and feel that the more you try to have something for everyone, those of us that want basic service with unlimited data are paying extra for you to offer everything for everyone.
I went to a different plan last year to save money and now it looks I will have to do the same again or better yet, move to another carrier. I played the plan jumping game for a few years with a music streaming service and I will not do that again....EVER!!
It seems there is no advantage to being a loyal customer. Verizon is only interested in squeezing as much money out of my pocket and hide it behind the screen of "improving our industry-leading mobile network and services".

Thank you for your loyalty these twenty years! We strive to provide a great service experience, and we are concerned to learn that you are experiencing issues at home. To better assist, please tell us a little more. When did it start? What model is your device and is the software up to date? Are you having service problems in other areas as well?

Maria.
Itโs nice of you to answer this personโs questions and concerns , I too have been a customer since Verizon was Bell Atlantic,,,,,,33 years.
Trying to address the service issues is a laughable reply and resolve. Itโs not their phone model, updating it or how old their phone is or anything like that causing the service issue. People are more angry about the prices. Stop deflecting away from the real issue.

Have you considered switching to prepaid? Don't know how much data you use or how much internet speed you need, but I pay under $40/month with autopay for the 15 gig prepaid plan and I think the mid-level unlimited prepaid plan is $50 plus taxes. It's Verizon's version of "no yadda yadda" plans and you're not kicked all the way to the bottom of the network barrel like the 3rd party budget carrier customers are (although you will be deprioritized in favor of postpaid customers). No frills either, but since you mentioned you don't really care about extra perks...
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
