I’m writing to express my disappointment with the misleading promises made by Verizon sales representatives. I recently added four new lines under the Verizon Welcome Unlimited plan. During my call with the agent, I was clearly informed that with four lines and autopay enabled, the monthly cost would be $30 per line. I was also assured that the activation fees for all lines would be waived and that I would receive a $300 gift card as part of the promotion.
However, after receiving and activating the devices, I encountered several issues. One of the lines was not added to my main account because, according to the agent, Verizon’s system couldn’t process a port-in from Visible — which is ironically a Verizon-owned service. As a result, that line was processed separately.
Now, my bill shows a charge of $50 per line instead of the promised $30, the activation fees have not been waived, and there has been no update regarding the $300 gift card. This experience has been frustrating and feels like a breach of trust, especially given the assurances I was provided before signing up.
