On December 21, 2024 I went into the Verizon store with the intent of starting a new line based on the promotion they were offering consisting of a free Samsung 75" QLED TV with new line activation. I went through all the steps with the employee, making to sure to fit all the requirements for the promo such as an eligible phone purchase (S24), unlimited line of service. The next requirement would have been to keep the phone service in good standing for 30 days and then I would get an email to redeem the TV through the MyVerizon app. The staff told me that the TV promo would show up in 30 days, but until then it would show up as a "phone credit" and take the monthly cost of the phone off my bill, but that I would pay that back once I redeemed the TV offer. I am now 60 days with the phone in good standing and Verizon is now saying that my offer has been declined because the store put my offer in as a "device credit". I have text multiple employees from the store on this issue, with them all acknowledging that I am eligible and supposed to get the TV credit and that the "higher ups" are looking into this. I have provided screenshots to the store from the Verizon website as well as the MyVerizon app and still nothing. So not only is Verizon not holding up their end of the deal ( which is in writing on their platforms )but also breached my contract, as they have put in a promo that I did not agree to, which is fraud.
