So, I went to Walmart today in search of a BYOD card so that I can transfer my phone number to Verizon after weeks of issues with straight talk. I bought the card for $9.88 before taxes, went home, went through the steps to activate it online and transfer my phone. Went I did that, I received a bank notification for the $70+ and an email saying that I was good and to upload my ID to move on with the process. I still can't access my phone and the number has not been switched out yet. My account on Verizon does not show any purchases nor does it allow me to access anything as I am not "authorized" to do so. This is infuriating as I paid over $85+ for everything including the service fees and I can't even use it and its been HOURS. When I do put in the order information to check the status, it says it's on hold and that I need to do something through the account BUT I CAN'T ACCESS IT THROUGH THE BUTTON THAT SAYS TO DO THAT.

You need to contact Straight Talk and see if there's something going on with the porting process, as they may have not released your number. Depending on the carrier, it can take up to 48 hours to port. Verizon's Porting Department can be reached by calling 888-844-7095. Hope that helps.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
