Plan upgrade requirements

I want to trade in one mobile device. I have two lines. On-line info on the Verizon site says I must upgrade both lines in order to trade-in and get new mobile phone. Currently I have Unlimited 55+ Loyalty. Does this means the price quoted for the new plans is twice the amout shown?

If you don't mind giving up your current plan, then going for a trade-in promo is exciting. I don't know what the price difference is between your legacy plan and those currently available on the website, but you are correct about old service plans not qualifying for any promotions. Otherwise, I'd look into financing the phone through some other means.

I'll try to be specific. A simple question from a simple mind. I have two lines with the 55-loyalty plan. If I must upgrade both lines in order to get a new mobile at the advertised price, and the new plan is $94-something per, is that for both lines? Or, is the new plan monthly really $188?

I think so. Currently, for 1 line in the account, at the top tier plan ( unlimited ultimate), it is 90 a month. If you have 2 line, both at this plan, it will be 80 each, so total is 160.

the numbers above are if you agree to set up autopay. If not, it will be more ( $10 more per line I think).

When you upgrade the plan, make sure the 55 Loyalty discount is applied, you may be lost it.

The lastest promotion “iPhone 17 on us” requires my plan (unlimited ultimate, plus, or welcome). So staying in the original 55+ plan won’t qualify.
