Hi -I have a question on the "International talk, text & data - 210 Countries".
Does this mean I can make unlimited calls and texts from a foreign country to the U.S. or is it only from the U.S. to a foreign country. Or is it both?
Thank you!

Hi LRCD! With our Unlimited Ultimate plan you have unlimited talk and text to and from the U.S. and the country you are located in at the time as long as the country is included in the 210 country list. Calls and texts to other countries other than the U.S. and the country you are travelling in at the time incur additional charges. To get information on a specifc country please visit https://www.verizon.com/plans/international/international-travel/

Some reps at Verizon said I have to select a specific country and those calls are included. Some reps said Europe was considered one country!
I've asked several times for a document that explains the plans but I'm just told to refer to the website. The website is not clear and when I call or chat to get answers I get different answers.
Some reps get snotty when I ask very specific questions and they can't answer. The opening statements of "congratulations on your travel" are not helpful. It just goes to show they're reading from a script and don't have any deeper knowledge.

In October I switched to the ultimate unlimited plan because I was going to be traveling abroad.
not only am I paying more for this service they are also charging me international minutes. And Kenya is in the 210 countries.
also my monthly data with this plan does not work. So now I have to pay extra for it.
also. My adult boys joined us for Christmas. They intentionally signed up for ONE travel pass. But got charged for several days. I called and told them which days they were traveling and to 1) refund us for extra days, and 2) to turn off travel pass for remainder of trip.
but they charged for more days anyway.
beyond frustrated. Please help.

Hey there, CTKenya, thanks for reaching out about your bill! We hope your trip went well and can certainly address the additional charges that you're seeing.
You mentioned signing up for one TravelPass. Was that to have TravelPass on one line of service? When using TravelPass, charges accrue as the phone is used. The easiest way to avoid starting a new daily session would be to turn off cellular data/data roaming. You can also use airplane mode to ensure the phone will not connect to e local network. Additional details regarding TravelPass can be found here: https://vz.to/36hGvPH.
You also mentioned being charged for calls on your number while traveling. Can you let us know the description of the international call on your bill? When checking your call records, are these charges from your phone to a local number in Kenya?

I didn't reach out about my bill. I didn't reach out about being charged for calls while traveling. My travel isn't even in Kenya! I think you are answering the wrong question.
This, unfortunately, is another example of how bad Verzion has gotten when it comes to helping customers.

The agent responded to @CTKenya who DID mention Kenya.
