I transferred three lines from a business account to a new wireless personal account. The website for unlimited plans indicates that new lines can take advantage of 50% a different device, like a iPAD. However, then the unwritten strings attached are started by the agent that is telling me that "the system says it's for buying new devices. I have been a Verison customer for over 30 years and it's the first time I have felt duped.

The above person is not the only one who feels misled when it comes to the website. I upgrade my sister's line the other night because there is an upgrade offer that would give the iPhone 17 at $0 and does not ask for a trade-in. When I went to upgrade the phone, I was forced to provide a trade-in. When I put the trade-in device in which is an iPhone 6s, she was given a $300 credit rather than providing a free iPhone 17. Now she has to pay around $23.00 a month for the device. When you shop on the website there are phones that state that a trade-in is required for certain iPhones. The iPhone 17 does not say that. I am a retiree from Verizon Wireless. The website is very misleading with the offers. It is more of a misleading offering. My sister has been a customer for 20 years and I am also a 20-year customer as well as a former employee. I understand that the company is focused on new customers but will eventually lose current and dedicated customers over the tactics that they are using. On top of that, the website is not at all user friendly like it used to be. Trying to navigate the site becomes very frustrating as it doesn't allow easy navigation.
