The plans are all available on the website and would show you the current pricing. IMO that's better than potentially being upsold or getting told something which doesn't happen later for whatever reason by a commissioned sales person.
If you are trying to switch between prepaid and postpaid somehow, that's a more complex process which you have to call a specific department to do the conversion.
I've had luck getting a real person using the live chat function while logged into My Verizon. Type "live agent" to get past the AI bot.
