I have an issue with accessing the cloud service. I got as far as creating an account with the home internet phone number, and then only recently I could access the cloud storage from that account. However, if I try to manage user access to the cloud, the setting is grayed out and indicates that I need to remove users in order to add users. Well, the only current user is the home internet account. So clearly there's a problem there. I've had no luck with the Verizon Cloud app on my phone since my main phone number is associated with Verizon Cloud on my device. AFAICT, there is not an option to sign in with the home internet account. I can sign-in to the My Verizon app with the home internet account, but that doesn't make a difference as far as cloud access. The cloud access shouldn't be so convoluted. If you're the main account owner and you have home internet service on your account with free unlimited cloud access, then you should simply be able to access the service and manage who can use the service.
About two months ago, I spoke to a support representative and was on the phone for at least a couple of hours. There was no resolution to getting cloud access. At the end of the call, the representative informed me that IT technical support would need to resolve a backend issue. The representative informed me that a ticket would be sent to technical support and that once the issue was resolved, support would call me to work through the solution. I was also told that I didn't need to call support again for the issue. The call with a solution never came, and there still is no solution to add account users to cloud access. At least I can now access the cloud by using the home internet account. I guess that's something. The FAQs don't resolve the issue, so please don't tell me to read them. I've read them already.
