Within the last week my wife's iPhone 6S wouldn't make a call. It would get the Verizon message "Your call cannot be completed as dialed". This occurred at home; she didn't test it elsewhere. She could receive calls and send/receive text messages. My Android phone (Droid Turbo) could make calls, so I thought it was a problem with her phone. I had her restart the phone (power switch only), and reboot with the power switch + home button until the Apple logo appeared. We tried both over the course of a few days. That sometimes, but not always worked. I also tried shutting off our Network Extender and moving to a place in the house where we get a weak 4G signal. That didn't help, so it does NOT appear to be a Network Extender issue.
Then this morning I had the exact same problem on my Droid Turbo, i.e., I couldn't make a call. I tried shutting off the Network Extender as I did before, but no luck. A reboot of the phone seemed to fix it, at least for now.
Perhaps coincidentally, I could not RECEIVE calls on my phone, at my office (not home), a few days ago and had to reboot the phone.
So something's going on and it isn't just my wife's iPhone. The phones have been fine since we got them last October. Any ideas? Is Verizon experiencing some technical issues?
Thanks,
Jeff
