Sprint my not have the greatest coverage, in fact its pretty bad, but at least they know how to treat there customers.
This sounds very amusing as well as RIDICULOUS! My previous wireless carrier was Sprint, and surely I can say exact same thing about them, infact even worse, not only they have crappiest coverage, but customer service as well. Also, there is always you can find something on ANY wireless carrier for which you could say they are the worst cell company. Also had At&t, well, dont get me started on them! I suggest go find a "PERFECT" company. As far as verizon, yes I admit there are things you could hate them for, but let me tell you, there are things I love them for, and they are the BEST you could find. Been there, done that!
well they are worst as in i STILL dont understand how they could overcharge random phones if your family plan goes over the limit. that makes no sense to me; shouldn't you be charging the extra minutes as a whole or charge the phone that actually made the last few calls to make it go over the limit instead of overcharging just one random phone line?
verizon has the worst customer service. everytime i talk to someone over there, they are useless! they don't help me with any of my questions and all they seem to say is sorry repeatedly as if they're a broken machine. they might as well be broken machines since every customer rep i've spoken with seem to be not helpful. it's the same thing as speaking to a wall for me.
and why cant i speak with the manager? they say that managers aren't allowed to speak with the customers...then what is the point of having managers. where does this logic come from?
im just waiting for 6 months to pass so i could switch to another co.

Yea, that's why they've been bleeding millions of customers for the past few years and all their post-paid customers switching to Virgin Mobile and Boost lol
Also, my brother still has sprint. His phone ROAMS IN HIS HOUSE!!! ok, so what if i call customer service and they are nice to me? that doesnt change the crappy coverage, does it?
First i had sprint, then changed to verizon, then changed to At&t, AND THEN FINALLY BACK TO VERIZON. Good luck on your quest!
I had Sprint for 2 years. I only had one bar on my phone all around my neighborhood. After 2 years I ended the service. Sprint actually had bad customer care for when I called in. I always tended to get some person with a horrible accent. I could never understand the person. I would eventually have to hang up. That is when I found email is the best way to ask questions to customer car on Sprint.
I would rather have better coverage and actually have service on my phone then customer care being all nice. I am paying for the service.
While Verizon may not be perfect, I must come to their defense here... Sure, I have had a few problems over the years (one is currently open and unresolved with using VZ Navigator) but they have treated me with respect and honesty. I cannot ask for more. Their coverage beats anyone else, Customer Service is polite and has taken care of me every time I have called.
I have been with Verizon long before it was Verizon. I was with Airtouch before Verizon purchased it. I had signed up for cell phone service with them about 1994, a long time ago for sure! My original phone was HUGE and heavy! Have been with them ever since. Yes, I have a current tiny phone.
Is Verizon perfect? No.
Are they the best? Yes!
Dave
I'm just wondering if Verizon is so bad, why are they NUMBER ONE in the country? LMFAO.

Sprint doesn't have prepaid plans available. Sprint only has contracts.
I hear good and bad about all cell phone companies and feel they are all as bad as the other but it is something we have grown to want and most of us need. Some are cheaper than others, some have good cust. serv., some not so good. some have where the phone works in their home but they move and then the phone doesnt work in the new place. THEY ARE ALLLL as good or bad as the other and it really kind of sucks. I dont feel we as customers ask for perfection but good service when needed is good, all have lost call syndrome and again we dont expect perfection but it would be nice if the companies cared about their customers they would be checking their towers continuously to make for better service. One thing EACH AND EVERYONE OF THE COMPANIES COULD DO is train their customer service people to give correct information and honor things a customer is told when calling as they have the conversations on their computers of what was said, what was offfered etc. in each customer service call received.
For instance I am fighting with Verizon at this time and I have been with them 9 years and everytime I call Customer service and I am told something I end up having to call for the same thing 2 to 3 times as things I call about do not get resolved. I called last week to get some info on changing my plan and explained to the agent I am considering ending my contract in Feb. when plan is up, she then offered me 6 months of 10% off of my bill on top of the 19 % I already receive because of where I work. I even went to our kiosk in our store the next day to get the mobile broadband and the young lady was giving me prices and saw that I was given the 10% and that that was nice they were doing that on top of the 19%. Well I recd. my bill but only got the 19 % discount so I emailed verizon and the lady said she removed the 10% and kept the 19% percent as that is the higher of the 2 and that she could not do the two simultaneously, that their system would not allow it. I wrote her back and told her not to insult my intelligence that I know it can be done and this was not something I asked for, it was something I was given. I also told her if they are not bright enough to figure out a computer to take off 29% there is always other ways they can do the bill to where I get the 10% I was told I would get. Havent heard back from them yet but am going to take the letters into my kiosk tomorrow, if only for a good laugh but maybe this young lady will be able to help me. Anyway, their cust. serv. is very poor and I have given them so many chances to get better but it hasnt so I am shopping around and may just go with a pay as you go plan as I detest poor cust. service and Lies. I like verizon and wish I could stay with them but dont feel I can since I cannot get good cust. serv., I am old school and believe in excellent customer service, have always given it in my profession and expect it when I need something. That is all, may update tomorrow after lady reads my emal. If anything else I only have 2 more months with them. Good luck to all of you, maybe if we all banned together and made a long list of lies and poor cust. serv, that they would start taking us serious. ;o)

virgin mobile is the prepaid division of sprint.
If only I had only 6 more months. I was foolish, I switched from ATT and am sorry I did that. Not only am I dropping calls, but sometimes I don't even get the call. It goes directly into my voice mail. Talking with someone is also a chore, as I keep getting only part of the conversation. When calling customer service, I get the same answer over and over and OVER again. They keep doing the samething, week after week, - updating. Duh, that does not work. At least ATT I ALWAYS got my calls, and they were clear!!! This is the 3rd phone I had with Verizon since March / April 2009. I call them atleast 3 times a month for the same problem and nothing works!!! I will NEVER recommend Verizon. When my 1-1/2 years is up, Verizon is gone!!! And if I can find a way to get out sooner, I will.
There has been times when I called verizon, they gave me another number to call, and it ended up being a phone number to access my voice mail - duh, I have problems with not getting calls and going directly into my voice mail -customer service - listen to me please.
I Agree because they hold u in the contract. not the worst but its bad. ATnT is better you can change your phone anytime and they got real touch screens and aps.
I would have to agree with you. They still have not resolved my problem and its been over a week and im still getting charged for services that i cant use 100%!
Verizon is not the "Worst"... and they have a wider coverage than anyone else, but here lately the customer service has been slipping. Sprint's coverage and customer service is not that bad, considering your talking to some foreigner outside the U.S.. If you have problems with your phone, loose it or have it stolen...they are at your service. AT&T...well that's a given.
I do have to say T-Mobile is by far the WORST wireless company. Their customer service is atrocious calling the 1-800# or going into one of their stores. If your phone don't work, they will not replace it under warranty or insurance, they tell you to BUY the same phone and renew your contract for another 2 years. At least at Verizon if you get the right person, they'll help...just don't change your number.
I'm waiting for my contract to be up and then I am leaving this crappy company for good. I don't know if they're THE WORST..but they provide horrible phone service and customer service i'll give you that.
I TOTALLY AGREE I CAN'T EVEN GET THERE SERVICE IN MY AREA. WHICH MIGHT BE A GOOD THING.
