Verizon Incoming Server Error May 8, 2017

I have yet to be migrated to AOL mail.  I'm getting incoming server error today on email.  Can anybody else verify that there are problems.

Thank you.  This is the quickest way to find out what is going on.  I would imagine it will be fixed within a couple of hours, same as it always has in the past.

I would also add that the web based email is down as well.  Usually this continues to work, even if the server doesn't function in Outlook.

I cannot get into webmail.  I keep receiving the following error:

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later. (error : 3002)

Anyone else getting this error?

This morning I kept receiving sign-in failure when trying to read my verizon e-mail from my android phone.

My password did work when I used the webmail site. (Now site is down)

We started receiving this error code today on all our devices.  Verizon has been telling us that we will have an opportunity to migrate to AOL and they would let us know when to do it.  We're still waiting.  I hope they just didn't pull the plug on us.

Yes, I am experiencing the same issues: As of 8-9 AM on May 8, 2017:

Cannot access my Verizon email remotely through my email client program (I use Thunderbird).  Getting error message: Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server pop.verizon.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Service Temporarily Unavailable

Cannot connect to Verizon mail server from my Android phone

Webmail -  Had temporary access to webmail this mornig then it went down. Verizon Webmail error message: SORRY We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later. (error : 3002)

It is 11:23 AM on east coast, POP server down on all devices. "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later. (error : 3002)." SMTP worked when sending a mail.  I have all the problems previouly stated by other users. Hoping Verizon did not pull the plug on the AOL conversion, I have not recieved a notification e-mail. In the many years of using Verizon mail, this is the first time I have not been able to recieve mail.

Same issues here.  Anyone heard when this issue might be resolved?  Constantly having problems with verizon getting emails on my phone.  Almost on a daily basis.  This is awful.  Like many people, my business depends on email.

If you do the following it would be very helpful to all of us especially in situations like the present one you are experiencing.

Click on your "handle"

Go to "My Settings">>Personal Information>>Location>>YOUR COUNTY and STATE

Same error here, when attempting to receive incoming webmail. "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later. (error : 3002)".  When using Outlook 2016, different error message says to contact ISP.

12:49 New York, Ny still receiving error message 3002.  Has been the same since about 7:30 this morning,  To acces settings, had same problem Is there any information from Verizon?  Same worries as everyone else.
