I have yet to be migrated to AOL mail. I'm getting incoming server error today on email. Can anybody else verify that there are problems.

Thank you. This is the quickest way to find out what is going on. I would imagine it will be fixed within a couple of hours, same as it always has in the past.
Also having the same problem here.
I would also add that the web based email is down as well. Usually this continues to work, even if the server doesn't function in Outlook.
I'm seeing Error 3002 on webmail.
I cannot get into webmail. I keep receiving the following error:

This morning I kept receiving sign-in failure when trying to read my verizon e-mail from my android phone.
My password did work when I used the webmail site. (Now site is down)

We started receiving this error code today on all our devices. Verizon has been telling us that we will have an opportunity to migrate to AOL and they would let us know when to do it. We're still waiting. I hope they just didn't pull the plug on us.

Good morning. I am unable to access my Verizon email, and when I tried using webmail it gives me the message that they are having technical problems. Does anyone have info on this - as to how long it will go on? I am on the east coast of the US.
The other thing I noticed is that the Verizon website was having problems accessing my account info. I assume the issues are related. Thanks for any help!

Same here. I just pray all my e-mails will still be here when this is corrected. It would be a GREAT help if Verizon would put out a time table for different regions as to when the conversion date will be, even if just an estimated date (ie, this week or 6 months from now).I started panicking yesterday after seeing yet another 'coming soon' alert when I logged into my mail and thought: "What IF a mistake was made and that message is very old, the transition is actually more imminent than it sounds ?'. I was relieved to discover not all customers have been alerted/switched over yet. I go to log in today and .... 'panic' resumed !!

Starting the morning of 2017-05-08, attempts to send/receive email from Outlook 2016 starting getting the following error:
Task ... Receiving reported error (0x800CCC92): Your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: -ERR [SYS/TEMP] Service temporarily unavailable'.
I look forward to Verizon fixing their email problems so I can again receive emails like I did yesterday.
I've had no service for 3 hours now. Never received email saying my date for switch was imminent. Not sure why this problem is flagged as "solved." Does "inactive/disabled" above mean that my account has been permanently disabled?
Same error here... had webmail for about a hour or two this AM, now not able to log in on wemail or any device. Including Outlook for my Windows laptop.
I did not receive the migration notification email either.
And again, ridiculous that this is marked "Solved." Thanks, Verizon!
Thinking the same thing, still waiting on their email so I can make the switch and hope they dident just pull the plug on us.
I need access to the webmail. the server seems to be down. I tried to get in touch with verizon support, but I was unable to. Does anyone know when the verizon server is going to be back up?
Looks like email has been down for over an hour, any idea what is wrong and an ETA?
Two people told me it was owed to Verizon shutting down their email service - but I have received no notice.
Is there an ETA on when this will be fixed? When trying to access email by way of desktop PC, it says there is an error and to try again later. When trying by way of mobile device it says POP.VERIZON.NET is not responding. I really need access to my verizon.net email. I have not been migrated yet so it is not a migration issue.
I was told there was an outage and no ETA on when it will be fixed. Maybe if more ppl call, they will prioritize it.
I've called Verizon technical for help with this and 45 minutes later from being put on hold and transferred a few times, all they can say is that they are aware and have no ETA on it's resolution. They said is not related to the migration of accounts, etc. Hopefully it's all there when this finally gets fixed but it's been several hours now since it went down. Not good for a Monday.

GMail just updated from pop server.
My webmail is also working.
2:05PM EST My desktop just downloaded new emails from the Verizon server but Webmail still down.
Had been down since about 8:59AM
Gmail refreshed from Verizon pop server.
And I was able to access webmail @ mail.verizon.com
Just waited an hour on the phone to speak with a tech and the tech said that there is an outage in the Verizon Boston market and they expect to get it back on line so you can get/send emails by 10pm tonight Monday May 8th. Probably sooner because they always give you a time that is long after the expected return of service so ppl wont keep calling after the first deadline. Good luck!!
Today 5-8-17 email is down. HOW LONG BEFORE IT IS UP AND WORKING. It has been down since 9:15 AM est.?!?!??!?!??!???????????????????

Email stopped working . Notice on all my devices and web mail idicate password has changed. Anyone else have this issue. Is this an offshoot of the Transition? I received no notice of transition yet. Verizon support is worthless.
it stinks...verizon help, chat, etc is one big "loop" with no contact support by telephone. Chat forums are useless and no info about verizon email cut off date No email in northern NJ since 11am

Verizon only cares to service their wireless accounts.
Email is still out at 2:42 p.m. in Eastern Mass. Obviously there is a serious problem. This is the first time in as long as I've been a customer to see service out for 6 hours -- so for all we know Verizon servers may have been attacked by hackers as indicated in the 'damage' report.. I managed to get on 'chat' and 24-48 hours is what they are now saying!.
