I've been with Verizon for three years and have never had any issues until now. I've always had excellent customer service, but something has changed. I recently got a new phone and Apple Watch, and in the store, the staff were rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Now, I'm stuck with an Apple Watch that doesn't work. I wanted assistance in the store, but I was told it is self explanatory and recommended to handle it at home with my own internet. I spent hours yesterday trying to set it up at home. Last night, I spoke with a representative who rushed me and repeatedly assured me that the issue would be resolved. I had to tell them I’ve never had an Apple Watch before. Please give me time to use the menu. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, and she kept trying to push insurance on the watch, which I had to decline multiple times. This has been an ongoing issue for several days now. I told the representative that the watch still doesn't work, but she transferred me to a Level 2 support person, where I was asked to leave a message. I haven't received a callback. My concern isn't about purchasing insurance; it's that my watch still isn't functional. I’m considering returning to the store, but I don’t want to, as I have other responsibilities and it's disheartening to repeatedly encounter poor customer service. I work in customer service myself and don’t understand what’s happening. The employees at the Verizon store are unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. They curse, act unprofessional, and complain. When I went to the desk for help, the other staff ignored me and instead shouted to the person helping me in the back, saying, "Hey, your customer." I'm seriously considering returning all of this new equipment and taking my business elsewhere.
