Apple Watch and Numbeshare issues. Rings once and then to voicemail on both phone/watch

Is anyone else having major issues receiving phone calls on either your iPhone or Apple Watch with NumberShare?

This week all incoming calls will only ring once and then instantly go to a voicemail box that is not setup (most likely the hidden phone number/mailbox for the apple watch).

I spoke w/support and we removed numbershare / apple watch plan and phone calls worked fine. We re-added Numbeshare/Apple Watch plan and issue comes back, rings once and goes to apple watch's voicemail that doesn't exist/isn't setup since its a numbeshare plan vs seperate number.

I plan to call back monday in hopes there was a backend issue and it was resolved this weekend. Any others have this issue?

My Setup:
iPhone 11 Pro

Apple Watch Series 10

Prepaid 15GB / NumberShare 15GB

Member for over 4+ years, zero issues till now.

, I'm pretty sure I figured out what's going on. Number Share isn't compatible with prepaid service; you must have a postpaid line before it will work. I strongly suspect whomever you worked with on getting your smartwatch service set up also signed you up erroneously with a postpaid smartwatch line. It would explain why your calls stopped working, because you cannot link prepaid and postpaid services together.

It was just last year that Verizon began offering smartwatch prepaid lines, so I can see how the mistake happened, if this is what it turns out to be.

I am not sure if you can simply have the smartwatch line converted to prepaid, or if you will have to disconnect the smartwatch line entirely and get a completely new prepaid smartwatch line (with a different "phone number" for the watch). Inside Sales at 800-256-4646 is the department to contact regarding converting postpaid service to prepaid, so I'd ask them. Hopefully this will also fix your not being able to login to My Verizon. Prepaid and postpaid services are under 2 different URLs for logging in, and if you accidentally got both kinds of service, your account is stuck in no-man's land whenever you try to login to My Verizon.

We definitely want to make sure you are able to use your numbershare feature on the watch! To verify, when you have the issue, are you calling the cell phone number or the phone number for the watch line specifically?

the phone number of my phone obviously. the issue was on your end, verizons, of course. removed it and resolved for now. however now my issue is that i can't even access my verizon account online or in the app. just tells me

"Error: We're having trouble connecting to My Prepay. Please try again later."

this has been happening since last Friday.
