Apple Watch cell wrong username

I’m attempting to setup cellular for my Apple Series 9 watch through my iPhone Apple Watch app. It first asked that I login into Verizon, but the username is already populated with my phone number which I have not used as my username in many years. I see no way to correct it.
Hoping someone has a work around.

Resolution update: by partnering with support, the issue of Apple Watch’s wrong username was resolved. If others encounter similar problems with Device Nickname common factors can include being able to sign in with My Verizon or temporary My Verizon glitches.
