My daughter's Gizmo Watch 3 (Mint) was working fine until this morning. The screen was black. After taking a moment to look at her watch this evening, the buttons seem to not be working. When we remove or place it on the charger, it makes the normal sounds. I went to the GizmoHub app to see if it is still connected. The app states that the watch has 100% battery. It shows her locations and clocked all her steps at school today (screenshot of the Gizmo Hub App below). I also tried turning on the watch face by pressing the home button on the side (pictured below). Nothing happened.
Here is photo of me trying to turn the screen on.
We purchased the watch towards the end of July. What do I need to do to make sure this watch is working properly? What are my next steps? This is frustrating considering the watch is less than 3 months old. My daughter has taken amazing care of this watch.

Definitely odd. Does it have any type of damage? Has been in contact ith water for an extended period of time?

Ours has the same problem and has not experienced any water damage or any physical damage whatsoever.

Hey, All426hemi. When you put the watch on the charger, what happens? If you look at the charge contacts, are they corroded or discolored?

My daughter's watch is doing the same thing. It is charging and I sent a message to the watch. It vibrated like it was received, but the screen is black.

Hello mtmaza. We're sorry to learn you're having issues with the Gizmo Watch. Does the device have any physical/liquid damage? When did you purchase your device? Have you tried resetting it?

I turned my son's watch off with the gizmohub app and powdered it on and by some miracle the screen came back on. I am so happy it's fixed for now.

The same thing happened to us today. No damage to the watch. Fully charged. Screen was black and only made sound when being put back in the charge. Thank you so much for your suggestion because it worked. You made my child happy this morning!

We had the same issue and it was resolved the same way. Used the app to power off the watch. Then restarted it and the screen was back to normal.

Both of my daughterโs watches are doing the same thing. I bought them new in summer time. I contacted Asurion for replacement and they told me since there is no physical damage I needed to contact Verizon because it is under a 1 year warranty.
Iโve been fighting back and forth with Verizon since Halloween just to get replacement devices.

This happened for the first time to us. Luckily, my child was home and not out of we needed to contact one another. Did this ever happen again to your watches? I am hoping this is a one time thing.

My daughter's watch did the exact same thing (also mint). Shutting it down with the app and then turning it back on seem to resolve the issue.
