While trying to add an iPhone number as a caregiver to my son’s gizmo, I only get the option to add the number as a gizmo buddy. It appears the number might have previously been connected to a gizmo device before it was issued to the iPhone. How can we get this corrected?

Being able to manage your watch is always important. Did you have this number registered as a buddy to another watch? Are you adding the number from the Gizmo app?

This is a brand new number that we got from Verizon for our new au pair. I am using the gizmo app to manage the watch contacts. I have never had this issue before. The app seems to think the number is registered to a gizmo watch but it’s registered to an iPhone 13.
