Gizmo watch 3 audio recording blank

We purchased a Gizmo watch 3 on August 30th for our child. It worked properly the first 2+ weeks but now when our child sends audio recordings they are blank. We've restarted the watch. No damage has been done to it, it's treated well. I'm very disappointed it's already giving us trouble.

Any ideas?

try a factory reset - put it on the charger and push the back button 4 times. Keep in mind you will have to add all the contacts again when you do this. I've had two of these watches since May and had to reset them each at least twice - also had to replace them once because of the constant issues.  If you are still in the no -risk return window you may want to think about that. The issues with these watches do not give parents piece of mind.
