Gizmo3 Cannot Answer Received Calls

Just purchased two Gizmo 3 watches and set them up with the Gizmo Hub app. All is set up properly and the watches function mostly as they should. They can send and receive texts, they can send and receive video calls, but yet they can only place a voice call. They cannot answer received phone calls. The watches will ring with the authorized contact information on the display, but when the answer button is pressed the calls end and display a notification of a miss call. Spent 7 hours today in various pits of tech support and not one person could help. We tried to reset the phone, factory reset the phone, re-pair the phone, delete all contacts and repopulate them...nothing worked. Since it is a problem on both phones it seems fishy that this would be a device issue. Short of ordering two new phones, anyone have any suggestions?
