Verizon ZW20 watch not charging

We bought a Verizon Gizmo ZW20 watch three years ago. We are now having problems charging the watch.

The watch's contacts were cleaned
An authorized replacement charger was purchased
The watch was turned off and on.
The watch has not been damaged.

How many recharge cycles does the watch have? Would it take over 1095 recharges?

If you've charged the watch nearly 1100 times, I'd say the battery needs to be replaced. Any rechargeable battery will eventually no longer hold a charge after some number of cycles.
