I am using a new Verizon Wireless Charging Pad (Fast Charge) with my new iPhone 11 Pro Max. First time the phone seemed to get very hot. Did a hard reset on the phone, because that is one solution to the heat issue. Charged last night... all seemed fine, but when phone seemed to get to 100%, instead of the indicator light turning from white to green, the light was blinking red. Tried several times with the same result. I do have an Otterbox Symmetry series case on the phone. Don't know if the heating issue is resolved (didn't leave the phone on the charger).
I figured this out. Posting the answer in case others have the issue. When placing the phone on the pad, it will charge (white light), but if not centered properly, the red light will start blinking (in time). All about proper placement of the phone.
Now I'm curious because the green light never comes on (stays white) even when the phone is fully charged. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is supposed to support the "fully charged" awareness, or whatever it is called.
