1x to no service at all, whats the problem?

I have problems with coverage in the 35209 zip,  Also, most of the time my signal is on 1x or near no coverage at all, this happened after the last upgrade. I have read many others same problem and gone through the fixes that have been posted. Still no help.  Carried it to my local store about one mile away and they were no help. This is a new phone and new service with Verizon, I'm stuck with bad service for two years if I can't get this fixed.
Please help!!

I do have iphone 4 and for a couple of months have had problems with the

phone freezing on screens, dropped calls, no service in area code 35209

where I spend a great deal of time. Most of the time is reads 1x instead of

3G. And it is worse inside buildings but also happens outside. Yesterday

I stopped at a restaurant in that area that I have no phone service in, but

can use their wifi. I text two people who were to meet me there before I

got out of my car. By the time I sent and walked across the parking lot,

the text sent 75% of the way and stopped. It stayed that way for about 3-4

min. then said failed, I tried again. Same thing happened and I finally

just gave up! I just changed in the fall to Verizon was an ATT wireless

customer for over 15 years but was having similar problems. I was told that

Verizon was better, but now my iphone, which was new at the time of my new

contract with Verizon is a piece of junk. I would really like to try

another brand of phone but now am locked into a two year contract. Very

frustrated, and the customer support in your stores in that same zip code

are worthless. ​

I completely understand the need of reliable service at all times nick@nite!

I appreciate the details provided and want to assist you with all of your questions or concerns. How does the device work in other areas? Lets try this to see if there will be any improvement: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Be sure WiFi is off when 3G/Cellular data is on and vice versa. Delete the text message thread and test out.

If the issue persists, we may need to file a network resolution ticket.
