cannot access wifi signal

Why will my 256GB SD not work on the Ellipsis 8?
Just installed a 256G SD Card to my Ellipsis 8, I had formatted it in Windows 10, tried to write 150G of music to it, Android fails to recognize the files, all in .MP3. Reformatted in Android, tried again, system still fails to load/ recognize music files, or only a limited quantity thereof. Am I missing something here?
