I have a Samsung Gusto 3. Today I added money to my prepaid account and the banner display did not update to reflect the new balance. The account information on line does reflect the new balance. The banner displayed a balance less than @$2.00 when I increased the balance. What do I do to fix the problem on my phone?

I got a new phone yesterday and activated it with Verizon I paid 30.50 $ for the first month to be renewed March 25 I had some extra $$ so today I made another payment- same amount- hoping to extend my service until April 25 However, the date for the next payment still says March 25 How can we correct this?
Changes when you make a call
When I make a call now, it says "the time available for this call is...unlimited." Why on earth do we need to listen to this before a call connects if all plans are unlimited? It takes a long time to connect and then to have to listen to this first? Seems a bit dumb.
