Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded my Verizon Fios plan to the 1 Gbps package, expecting a significant improvement in internet speeds. While my download speeds are close to what was promised, the upload speeds seem much lower than expected, hovering around 100 Mbps.
I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- Restarting my router.
- Running speed tests on multiple devices, both wired and wireless.
- Ensuring no heavy applications or devices are consuming bandwidth during tests.
I also check this: https://community.verizon.com/t5/Knowledge-Hub-Popular-Articles/Using-your-own-router-with-Verizawscertificationonline But I have not found any solution. Despite these efforts, the upload speeds remain inconsistent. Has anyone else experienced similar issues after an upgrade? Could it be a hardware limitation, or should I reach out to Verizon support for further assistance?
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
