WAN disconnects Multiple times a day - Verizon technician replaced the ONT but problem remains

Hi,

I have constant WAN disconnections, they usually don't last more than a minute. The service reconnects by itself but it's a nightmare, I get disconnected from calls every day. I'm now considering cancelling my Fios access.

I used 2 different routers just to make sure it's was not a router problem. I used the default CR1000 provided by Verizon and also used an Ubiquiti one but had the same issue. I called Verizon, a technician came, they said the signal was good, they changed the ONT but could not see the issue live (it happens at most 6 times a day so every 4 hours), so they left, the next day it was stable. And around Christmas I saw the issue happen again many times.

Since I have a software engineer background, I was trying to look at the advanced logs and found this:

2024 Dec 28 08:52:06 arc_cloud notice [CLOUD.5][ADV] Internet is back!
2024 Dec 28 08:52:06 arc_cloud info [CLOUD.6][ADV] ping WAN & cloud test link .. OK
2024 Dec 28 08:51:14 arc_cloud info [CLOUD.6][ADV] ping WAN OK, then check cloud test link.
2024 Dec 28 08:51:14 arc_cloud notice [CLOUD.5][ADV] We Re-check Internet!
2024 Dec 28 08:51:14 arc_cloud err [CLOUD.3][ADV] curl_easy_perform() failed:(28) Error.

Another example:
2024 Dec 27 23:03:50 arc_cloud notice [CLOUD.5][ADV] Internet is back!
2024 Dec 27 23:03:50 arc_cloud info [CLOUD.6][ADV] ping WAN & cloud test link .. OK
2024 Dec 27 23:02:59 arc_cloud info [CLOUD.6][ADV] ping WAN OK, then check cloud test link.
2024 Dec 27 23:02:59 arc_cloud notice [CLOUD.5][ADV] We Re-check Internet!
2024 Dec 27 23:02:59 arc_cloud err [CLOUD.3][ADV] curl_easy_perform() failed:(28) Error.
2024 Dec 27 23:02:32 arc_cloud notice [CLOUD.5][ADV] Internet is back!
2024 Dec 27 23:02:32 arc_cloud info [CLOUD.6][ADV] ping WAN & cloud test link .. OK

In the WAN DHCP logs there is no errors. I'm kind of desperate, I spend hours on the phone with Verizon which always recommends restarting the ONT & router, but the issue remains.

I found this issue https://community.verizon.com/t5/Fios-Internet-and-High-Speed/HELP-Daily-WAN-disconnects/td-p/156138... that seems very similar to mine. Do you have any recommendations on how to resolve the issue? The technician said they can't do anything if they cannot reproduce the issue, they did not look at the logs of the router at all for instance. Any help would be greatly appreciated !
