Prepaid will not activate
Could someone please help me? I'd appreciate it. Got my prepaid LG Revere this morning and it will not acitivate. I put the battery in and pressed Send. At that point, I thought it was activated, but no. I tried dialing *228. I took the battery out, put it back in and tried again 3 times. No luck. Is this thing broken?

I seen that the pre-paid phones say $50 unlimited text talk and web. Though my question is what card would you buy or how do you do that? Because I usually buy the 20 dollar unlimited texting cards. And even though it says "unlimited" is it really unlimited?
International call disconnect
I have a Prepaid LG-vx5600 cell phone and get disconnected when calling a international call. It rings and it appears that someone has picked up and then I get a recording form verizon about my account balance. I dont have any problems texting to this number. Frustrated, Dan

What is the difference between prepaid and contract? What I mean is there a difference in service like reduced towers or something? Or am I missing something...
